General miscellaneous cargo operations
The main operation carried out by the company
in the year 2008 was loading and unloading general cargo
with a total volume of 9 Million Tons mainly handled in
the ports of Imam Khomeini and Nowshahr.
Container operations
Following a remarkable increase in the
container operations in 2003, having signed a 10-year
contract in Bushehr port, Bonyad Barandaz Co. launched a
series of research and survey to further study the
expansion of container operations in the port with an
aim to guarantee continuous flow of container
operations.
This research led to a better recognition as well as
development of comprehensive high tech software (BCTS)
designed to administrate the container terminal. The
software is capable of automatically controlling all
operations from the very beginning to the end in a man
less discipline.
Data transfer is done through hand held computers with
the software directly connected to the website "
www.bcts.ir". Since Bonyad Barandaz Co. has made
'customer care' his motto, it also provides some other
facilities for the welfare of its customers (Shipping
lines, business people and cargo owners) through which
they can enjoy access to all shipping updates, transfers
and container developments online along with other
necessary details.
