In March 1997, Bonyad Barandaz Co. was established by the "Mostazafan Foundation" (Foundation for the oppressed) with a mission to offer port services including loading and unloading operations at Iranian ports and customs.

Bonyad Barandaz Co. is the first company to handle all land operations of a port at a single go. The company is currently executing all activities port operations in the ports of Nowshahr, Bushehr including loading and unloading to and from ships, transporting goods to terminals and warehouses while fully protecting cargos at warehouses (administrative terminal).
Quality delivery of services to customers and their satisfaction has worked out a lofty position and eventually rated the company among those highly reputable pioneer companies recognized by the ports and maritime organization. The same organization thus accepted Bonyad Barandaz company's proposal to invest in two container terminals of Bushehr port and particularly in the oil terminal of Imam Khomeini port, leasing the two national terminals for 143 Million Dollars investment and a period of 25 years.
Acceleration and facilitation of advanced port operations particularly in the container section has only been made possible through application of up-to-date equipment and machinery such as Gantry Cranes, RMG and RTG cranes, Reach Stacker, Top lifts, Fork lifts, Mobile harbour cranes, Termina tractors, crop sucker machines etc... along with advanced softwares and the internet.
